Product conformity and legal guarantee

This information applies to consumers and supplements, rather than limits, rights provided by law.

Statutory legal guarantee

The seller is liable to the consumer for a lack of conformity that existed when the goods were delivered and becomes apparent within two years from delivery, as provided by applicable consumer law. Any commercial guarantee offered by the manufacturer or seller is additional and cannot shorten or otherwise limit the statutory legal guarantee.

When goods conform to the contract

Goods must match the characteristics, quantity, quality and purpose stated in the contract and product description, and have the qualities a consumer may reasonably expect from goods of that type. Mandatory manufacturer labelling and safety information are also relevant when assessing conformity.

What to do if you notice a defect

Email labas@aysv.lt and, where possible, provide the order number, product name, a description of the issue and photos or other information that helps us assess it. We request additional evidence only where reasonably necessary to review the claim.

Remedies

If goods do not conform to the contract, the consumer may use the remedies provided by law, including repair or replacement and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or termination of the contract. The appropriate remedy depends on the defect, the nature of the goods, proportionality and other legal conditions.

If applicable law in force at the relevant time provides an additional extension of the statutory guarantee following repair, that extension applies to the extent provided by law.

Return costs for non-conforming goods

Return costs and other necessary costs of bringing defective or non-conforming goods into conformity are handled in accordance with applicable law. Please contact us before sending such goods back independently so that we can provide an appropriate return method.

Manufacturer guarantees

If the manufacturer provides an additional commercial guarantee for a particular product, its terms apply, but they do not reduce your statutory rights against the seller.
